Cycling Route - Jan van Riebeeck Road, Oudsthoorn.

The cycling  route  for Deca South Africa takes place along Jan Van Riebeeck Road, just outside the town of Oudsthoorn.

This flat, fast and smooth six-kilometre course consists of a three- kilometre stretch of excellent tarred road, which cyclist will complete as an out-and-back route - ideal for4 maintaining speed and rhythm throughout the cycling leg.

The route offers spectacular views of the Swartberg mountains, while passing working sheep and ostrich farms, providing a truly beautiful Karoo experience.

With no speedbumps, no cobblestones and a broad shoulder  on both sides of the road, cyclists can look forward to a smooth and efficient turn around and uninterupted riding.

Fast, scenic and cyclist-friendly, this route promises to make the cycling leg of Deca South Africa an enjoyable and memorable part of the challenge.
